The Legacy of Mark Twain
Mark Twain, was an American writer, who implemented humor and great creativity within his writing to gain the interest of readers. He was named as the "greatest humorist the United States has produced" Some of Twains’ well-known novels include The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (1876) and its sequel, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (1884). In being named after the great Mark Twain we are providing our scholars with an education that allows them to demonstrate their creativity. Our scholars are using their intellectual skills to exemplify their writing skills in every content and extracurricular activity. Mark Twain is only part of our name, it is followed by “School for the Talented and Gifted. Our scholars demonstrate their talents and gifts in the areas of: Music, Debate, Art Club, Amazon Future Engineering (Coding)….. The only way to experience the greatness of Mark Twain is to get aboard the Twain Train.
